The City of Moreno Valley (population just over 210,000) is a progressive and diverse city with a bright future. Strategically located in the western portion of Riverside County, Moreno Valley is about an hour’s drive east of Los Angeles, west of Palm Springs, and north of San Diego. The City is seeking a strong, experienced, and motivating leader as their new Code and Neighborhood Services Division Manager. The salary for the Code & Neighborhood Services Division Manager is $97,103 – $136,715 annually, depending upon qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with a major in public or business administration, construction management or a related field; and at least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the inspection or enforcement of building, zoning, land use or other related codes; at least two (2) years which were in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Additionally, a candidate experienced in working with differing bargaining unit members is highly desired.
