$275,000 to $310,000

Description:

We are seeking an experienced attorney to serve as the chief legal representative for the County Board of Supervisors and County Departments. County Counsel also provides legal services and guidance through subordinate attorneys for all County departments, agencies, and special districts. County Counsel has full responsibility for planning and directing the activities of the County Counsel Office, including managing, guiding, and leading the attorney and support staff within the Office.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess the following:
1. Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California, AND
2. At least five (5) years of management experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the classification. Experience must include at least one (1) year of supervision.
