Salary:

Approximate Monthly Salary: $7,502.88 – $9,121.08.

Description:

There is an additional 3.35% Management Differential which is added to the posted salary for this class. Effective June 18, 2023, a 4% COLA (Cost of Living Adjustment) will be added to the salary for this class. Under supervision, a Dental Health Program Coordinator plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates dental public health programs, and implements and administers related other health programs or service delivery functions.

Qualifications:

1. Possession of a current valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist issued by the State of California. AND 2. Any combination of experience and education which is likely to provide the required knowledge and abilities specified for this class; a typical way to obtain these knowledge and abilities include: a. A bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university in dental hygiene, health education, public health, or a related health field, such as health sciences or life sciences. AND b. Two years experience as a registered dental hygienist in a school dental health program, public agency dental health program or a related dental health program whose primary emphasis is education and prevention.
