Level I: $7,265-$8,831/mo Level II: $7,992-$9,714/mo Level III: $8,785-$10,678/ mo

Description:

The Deputy County Counsel I/II/III position receives direction from the County Counsel. This position will perform professional legal work in the interpretation and application of law for the County of Amador and its various subdivisions. This position also performs legal research and represents the County in assigned legal proceedings and transactions; and will do related work as required.

Qualifications:

Active membership in the State Bar of California is required at all levels. Three years experience in the practice of civil law or three years of experience as a deputy county counsel or another public law practice is required for level II. Three years of experience in the practice of civil law comparable to that of a Deputy County Counsel II for level III.
