Salary:

$72,213 – $116,532 Annually

Description:

Under direction, provides legal services and representation, advice and assistance to County departments, employees, Board of Supervisors and various committees/commissions; represents county governmental jurisdictions in legal/business matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on juvenile dependency law matters and/or development projects, reviewing for CEQA compliance, planning/zoning laws, California Building Code, public contracting, Brown Act and ethics laws. Experience drafting/interpreting land use ordinances, plans and policies, experience appearing before administrative bodies, experience handling complex transactional matters, including public works, real property transactions, public procurement, construction law, land conservation, solid waste and transportation law.

Qualifications:

Equivalent to possession of a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law.

Must possess and maintain active membership in the California State Bar Association.

Must possess a California driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
