$115,070.16 – $159,337.20 Annually

Description:

The Los Angeles County Office of the County Counsel (County) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Deputy County Counsel – Real Estate/Construction/Water Resources Law. This journey-level position is responsible for providing legal advice and representation to the Board of Supervisors, County departments, and County-related agencies concerning real estate, construction, water quality, water resources, and/or public infrastructure projects, including construction advice, environmental review pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), due diligence, and contract negotiations and drafting, for leases, acquisitions, construction projects, joint development projects, and public-private partnerships.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have two (2) years of full-time experience in the practice of public agency law and/or civil law, with a specialty in real estate, construction, water quality, and/or water resources law, including providing advice on environmental matters AND possess admission to practice law in all courts of California.
