Salary:

$147,902 – $189,750 Annually DOE

Description:

The County Librarian seeks a Deputy County Librarian with the intention, commitment, personal and professional characteristics and skills to further strategic initiatives of the Library. This executive level position will assess needs and strategically plan, onboard, and evaluate critical initiatives, near-term to far-term. The position will improve our staff capacity as well, to respond, to evolve, and to dynamically become the library that the community needs over time.

Qualifications:

Typically the required knowledge and abilities are acquired through attainment of a Master’s degree in Library Science from an accredited university and at least five years of recent progressively responsible supervisory and administrative experience in a community library system; at least three of which must include participation in program and policy determination either on a system wide basis or as the librarian in charge of a community library.
