Description:

The County of Santa Clara is seeking a Deputy Director, Department of Child Support Services to assist the Director in the administration, organization and supervision of staff, operation and programs of the County of Santa Clara Department of Child Support Services. An ideal candidate will be a motivated leader who relates well with others and has experience working with the California Child Support Program, including a comprehensive understanding of administrative, legal, managerial, programmatic, and policy issues, implementing large-scale departmental changes and initiatives, and leading a large and complex department or program. Qualifications:

– Five (5) years of increasingly responsible professional experience in a child support agency or related field which has included at least two (2) years recent experience at a senior level administrative or management position. – Training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
