Description:

The Deputy Director of HHSA/Child Welfare Services Director directs the activities of the Child Welfare Services (CWS) Division within the HHSA. The size of the Division enables the organization to be nimble, which allows the Director to implement innovative, evidence-based practices in providing child welfare services. This Director should be a forward thinking leader working with stakeholders and the community to lead the Division to become an industry leader and a model organization ensuring the safety and well-being of children under 18.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctorate. Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Clinical Psychology, or related field plus six years of increasingly responsible professional program experience in a child welfare, social service, or human services program including four years of administrative and supervisory responsibility.
