$72,011.42 – $87,530.04 Annually

Description:

Under general, administrative direction, to plan, organize, direct, and manage the County’s planning functions and activities; to provide highly responsible and technical staff support for the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission; to serve as staff for LAFCO and the Local Council of Governments; and to do related work as required. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: This is the top level management classification for the position which has responsibility for managing and directing the County Planning Department.

Qualifications:

Five years of responsible work experience in performing professional planning work, including at least one year in a supervisory or management capacity.
Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in planning, or a closely related field, is highly desirable.
