Description:

The County of Nevada is seeking an experienced candidate to fill the position of Director of Code and Cannabis Compliance. The ideal candidate will know how to effectively plan, organize and direct the County’s Compliance functions and provide expert professional assistance to the Board of Supervisors and County management staff in areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include a BA with major coursework in natural resource management, city and regional planning, environmental studies, criminal justice, police science, or closely related field; and four years of experience in any combination of code enforcement and/or a regulatory department, including at least two years supervising, one of which is at the management level.
