Description:

The County of Riverside is seeking a highly experienced leader prepared to engage quickly and effectively as the Director of Facilities Management. This position will play a key role in supporting evolving changes within the newly established organization. The Facilities Management Department is comprised of seven unique divisions committed to providing safe, efficiently operated and aesthetically pleasing buildings for use by County employees and the general public.The Director will partner with a variety of stakeholders to oversee all physical and financial aspects of facilities maintenance operations.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree preferably in public or business administration, project management, engineering, architecture, or a closely related field.

Experience: Five years of professional management experience, with oversight for facilities management activities such as custodial services, project management, real estate and other related functions. This responsibility must have included oversight for budget planning and control
