Description:

The County of Kings is seeking a proven leader to lead and manage the Kings County Department of Finance. This executive level at-will position reports directly to the Board of Supervisors. The Director of Finance is responsible for administering all functions and activities of the Department including the Accounting and Treasury Divisions which incorporate all functions previously statutorily assigned or delegated to the offices of the county auditor, county controller, county treasurer and county tax collector. The County is seeking a leader who is confident, informed, assertive, and ethically sound who can provide a vision for the Department of Finance, be a strong team builder, and provide exceptional customer service and support to the County of Kings. Effective communications skills are essential for critical networking and facilitation with various agencies and community groups. The Director of Finance is expected to model a strong work ethic and leadership skills.
