Description:

Modoc County is seeking a capable professional who will step in to this key leadership role and garner the respect of his/her colleagues through personal engagement. This individual will need to build trust with employees by being visible and providing access to senior leadership. Under general direction of the County Board of Supervisors, and subject to the provisions of State law and regulations dealing with the provisions of Public Health Services, to plan coordinate and direct the work of the Department of Health Services.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of progressively responsible experience in a human services field and a Bachelor’s degree, or four years of management experience with two years in a California County or City. The ideal candidate must also be compliant with Title 9 State requirements for Local Mental Health Services, professional standards.
