The Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency is currently seeking a Director of Human Services who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of major public services functions of the Human Services Branch. The successful candidate will be an important member of the management team, which consists of the Agency Director and the directors from the four branches. Qualifications:

•A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in social work, public or business administration, or related field.

•A master’s degree in social work, counseling, or public administration is highly desirable.

•Five years of increasingly responsible supervisory, administrative, or managerial experience related to budget development and administration, management, personnel practices, public assistance program evaluation, policy development, and the planning, organizing, and directing of welfare programs department or agency.
