$9,105 – $11, 069 Monthly

Description:

The new Director of Library Services will have the opportunity to:
-Communicate the importance & value of library service in the digital age & increase public awareness of services the library provides as a dynamic, effective & visible spokesperson in the community;
-Develop a vision for the future & inspire community members to embrace that vision by seeking sustainable & reliable funding for the library (possible parcel tax vote 2021);
-Partner with the Friends of the El Dorado County Library to build support for the library & to raise funds to enhance current library services;

Qualifications:

Any combination of the required experience, education, and training that would provide the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.

Graduation from an American Library Association accredited university with a master’s degree in library science, and four (4) years of professional experience, which has included administration of library programs, including at least two (2) years in a management capacity.
