Description:

Sacramento County, CA has a total operating budget for 2020-21 of about $6.41 billion, more than 12,500 full-time employees. and a population of over 1.5 million. The Director is responsible for a Department comprised of several specialized division and service teams including: Labor Relations, Administrative Services, Risk Management, Employee Benefits, Employment Services, Equal Employment Opportunity, Workers Compensation, and Department Services. The Director plans, organizes, evaluates, and directs the operations and activities of the Department.

Qualifications:

Seeking a dynamic individual with a broad background in human resources as well as extensive, in-depth management experience directing personnel programs and activities. Able to formulate and implement comprehensive programs, functions, budgets, and administrative processes for a large governmental agency.
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required. A graduate degree is preferred.
