As a result of a pending retirement, the County of Marin is beginning a national search effort to seek an extraordinary leader to guide the Public Works Department into the future.

Qualifications:

This dynamic role requires an uncommon and engaging public works professional with the ability to address a wide range of needs from facilities, flood control, infrastructure improvements, capital projects, and roads to climate action mitigation plan and coastal issues dealing with sea level rise. Staff of 255 FTEs and FY 2020-21 Budget of $64 million. Registration as PE-Civil in California is desirable.
