Description:

Placer County’s Community Development Resource Agency is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Engineering and Surveying Division. The candidate selected for this vacancy will be responsible for the review and oversight of grading, drainage, water quality, transportation, and site infrastructure improvements for private land development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land development engineering as well as supervisory experience.

A current valid Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer issued by the State of California is required for this position. Please include a copy of your license with your application materials.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible experience as a registered professional engineer in the required specialty field, including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility.

Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil engineering or a related field.

License or Certificate:
• Possession of a Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer in an appropriate discipline as issued by the State of California.
• May need to possess a valid driver’s license as required by the position. Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.
