$57.45 – $71.75/hour; $9,958.00 – $12,436.67/month; $119,496.00 - $149,240.00/year

Description:

Placer County is recruiting for the position of Engineering Manager. This recruitment will be open until filled. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply immediately.

This position will be responsible for overseeing Placer County’s Flood Control District. The district is governed through a cooperative effort by the County of Placer and the Cities of Auburn, Lincoln, Rocklin and Roseville and the Town of Loomis.

Qualifications:

Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible experience as a registered professional engineer in the required specialty field, including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility.

Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil engineering or a related field.

License or Certificate:

•Possession of a Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer in an appropriate discipline as issued by the State of California.

•May need to possess a valid driver’s license as required by the position. Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.
