Description:

The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency, Engineering & Surveying Division, is seeking motivated individuals for two vacant positions. The two vacant Engineering Technician II positions include an individual specializing in Construction Inspection duties and an individual specializing in Land Surveying duties. Candidates for both positions must work effectively and tactfully with outside agencies, developers, contractors, coworkers, and members of the general public.

Please note that the eligible list established from this recruitment will be utilized to fill future vacancies as they occur in both the Public Works Department and the Community Development Resource Agency

Qualifications:

Experience: Two years of responsible sub-professional engineering experience performing duties similar to an Engineering Technician I with Placer County.

Training: Equivalent to an Associate’s degree from an accredited college with major course work in engineering technology, architectural design, construction management, project management related to engineering, architecture or construction, or a related field.
