Description:

The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency, Engineering & Surveying Division, is seeking motivated individuals for a vacant position. The vacant Engineering Technician II position include an individual specializing in Land Surveying duties. Candidates will be able to work effectively and tactfully with outside agencies, developers, contractors, coworkers, and members of the general public.

The Engineering Technician II position specializing in office-related Land Surveying shall demonstrate experience in technical review of Corner Records, Records of Survey and Parcel Maps, file management and archiving, and general surveying support for the Division.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience: Two years of responsible sub-professional engineering experience performing duties similar to an Engineering Technician I with Placer County.

Training: Equivalent to an Associate’s degree from an accredited college with major course work in engineering technology, architectural design, construction management, project management related to engineering, architecture or construction, or a related field.

License or Certificate:
• May need to possess a valid driver’s license as required by the position and in accordance with California Vehicle Code. Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.
