Description:

Contra Costa County’s Public Works Department is seeking qualified individuals to fill Equipment Services Worker vacancies in their Fleet Services Division. Fleet Services supports the Contra Costa County Departments by providing safe, reliable, economical, and environmentally sensible transportation and related services that are responsive to the needs of our customers. The Equipment Services Worker’s position is a key service position that performs the bulk of the County’s vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles and specialized units. Equipment Services Workers are responsible for inspecting, lubricating, and servicing the County’s equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications License Required: Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. Out of State valid Motor Vehicles Operator’s License will be accepted during the application process. Experience: One (1) year of full-time experience or its equivalent in the lubrication and servicing or minor maintenance of road construction or automotive vehicles in a full-service automotive service station or center.
