Description:

The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, is seeking to hire an Information Systems Manager to lead the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project! Well-qualified individuals will have experience in Project Management for ERP systems and demonstrate familiarity with fundamentals of governmental accounting and budget preparation, administration, and controls. This will be a limited term position for a minimum of 24 months and will report directly to the County Chief Information Officer. The Project Manager will collaborate with department leaders and their fiscal and admin teams to understand business needs and to develop critical governance and change management processes, and utilize these tools for the duration of the project.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with course work in computer science, information systems, business administration, engineering, or a closely related field, and four years of progressively responsible professional experience in Information Systems, including at least two years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
