Description:

George Hills, on behalf of CalMHSA, is seeking an innovative, resourceful and dynamic leader, who possesses effective management communications and relationship building skills across the organization, board and affiliated public agencies. This position will oversee direction and control of policies and procedures related to the JPA and represent CalMHSA at the state level as it relates to CalMHSA activities. Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have a master’s degree or doctorate from an accredited institution, in a related field. They will have relevant experience with intergovernmental issues and processes or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience. The candidate should have proven integrity, ethical standards and transparent governmental operations, ability to sustain consistent compliance with legal requirements and establish positive working relationships with various stake holders. They will also have commitment to maintaining productive working relationships with other associations and demonstrated sound personnel management experience and willingness and ability to make timely and fair personnel decisions.
