THE JOB: The incumbent serves as the executive assistant to the County Administrative Officer (CAO). The responsibilities included in this position are preparing correspondence and reports, financial and business record keeping, calendaring, meeting coordination, and the development and maintenance of working relationships with all levels of government and the public. The option for remote work may be available based on the type of work and operational needs.
THE REQUIREMENTS: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain these knowledge and abilities would be: Four years of increasingly responsible clerical experience that would provide the knowledge and abilities listed below OR one year of experience equivalent to a Secretary with the County of Santa Cruz.
