Description:

The Department of Internal Services is offering a fantastic career opportunity for a dynamic, determined professional for the position of Facility Services Manager. As a condition of employment, selected candidates will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance to access Fresno County detention facilities.

Qualifications:

OPTION 1: Possession of a bachelor’s degree that is acceptable within the United States’ accredited college or university system. Three (3) years of full-time, paid work experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity in facility construction, alteration, and/or repair projects which included operations planning, budget analysis, and/or cost estimation. OR Three (3) years of full-time, paid work experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity directing facility services functions in a governmental, commercial, industrial, or institutional setting involving operations planning, budget analysis, and/or cost estimation. Additional experience with the County of Fresno as a Facility Services Sup, Building Maintenance Specialist or a Maintenance Services Supervisor may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.

OPTION 2: Seven (7) years of full-time, paid work experience as a Building Maintenance Specialist with the County of Fresno. Possession of a valid Class “C” driver’s license, or equivalent, may be required.
