Salary:

$94,036.80 – $112,923.20 Annually

Description:

The Field Inspection Supervisor plans, organizes, assigns, supervises and coordinates the work of staff engaged in the field inspection of residential and non-residential buildings. This position also performs or assists in field inspections of major and/or technically complex building projects; and conducts trainings and evaluates the performance of field inspectors.

Qualifications:

Experience:
Four years as a government agency building inspector preferably to include one year in lead supervisory capacity. (Four years paid experience as a superintendent of building construction projects, which involved supervision of several building trades, may be substituted for one year of required experience.)

Education:
Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. Course work in building or construction inspection as an accredited college or university is highly desired.

License or Certificate*:
The possession of the combination of required Inspection Certificates issued by the International Code Council as required by California Assembly Bill 717 (1995) to complete essential functions.
