Description:

The City of South Pasadena is seeking a collaborative, highly effective communicator, able to administer the City’s financial affairs, and lead its Finance Department. The successful candidate must be a seasoned public sector professional with the ability to clearly communicate complex and detailed information in a manner that affords their listeners the opportunity to fully participate in guiding the City forward.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; experience with a California municipality & Certification as a Public Accountant is desirable; 5 years of increasingly responsible financial experience in accounting and financial work, including at least 2 years in a public agency; or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
