The Finance Director works collaboratively with citywide departments to plan, develop, implement, monitor, evaluate, and report the City’s achievement of short- and long-term financial goals and fiscal responsibilities.
Applicants must have 8 years of recent progressively responsible experience in accounting, auditing and management including 5 years of supervisory experience, and a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university. Experience as a Finance Director in a comparable size City or Assistant Finance Director in a larger jurisdiction and a Master’s degree in Public Administration are desirable.
