Description:

Regional Parks seeks a dedicated professional to serve as their Fiscal and Administration Manager.

The Fiscal and Administration Manager in Regional Parks will play an integral role on the management team and have responsibility for:

• Creating and submitting Board agenda items
• Implementing new, department-wide technology systems including a new, point-of-sale system
• Developing Regional Parks’ cost accounting for end-of-year fiscal reporting
• Overseeing organization development and growth as the department incorporates increased staffing and expanding responsibilities
• Leading the fiscal administration of capital projects budgets

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Significant experience in governmental affairs including managing tax measure funding, state and federal lobbying, and collaborating with nonprofit advocacy groups
• Exceptional fiscal and accounting skills and experience analyzing and projecting fees and costs, and working with multiple types of funding sources
• Experience working in a Parks system, and the ability to determine emerging trends in park administration and best practices
