Description:

Tentative Interview Schedule: Possible dates from February 7, 2022-February 18, 2022 Hire Date: Seeking start date, no later than April 4, 2022 Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for managing grant-related activities including submission of grant and government subsidized loan applications, compliance monitoring, financial grant accounting, audit preparation and support, and oversight of funding appeals. The Grant Coordinator will perform this work for the District, may perform this for other contracting agencies, per District approval.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION 1. High school graduate or equivalent. 2. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business, public administration, accounting, or a closely related field is desired. 3. A combination of education and experience to demonstrate management skills, knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and internal control practices will be considered. EXPERIENCE 1. Three (3) years in grant administration is required. 2. Five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience in business and/or project management is required. 3. Three (3) years supervisory experience is desired. 4. Experience in accounting and budgeting is desired, as well as experience with a governmental agency or public utility.
