Calaveras County Public Health is seeking two new members to add to our vibrant and remarkable Health Education team. Help fulfill our mission to improve the health and well-being of all people living in Calaveras County. Our ideal Health Education Specialists will have a passion for community health. These positions encourage experience working in a low resource community and an understanding of health education programs.

Qualifications:

Health Education Specialist I: Master’s degree in Public Health or Community Health Education from a university or college accredited by the American Public Health Association; Or Master’s degree in a health-related field from an accredited university or college and certified as a Community Health Education Specialist (CHES).

Health Education Specialist II: In addition to the above, one year of paid experience in a community based health education programs.
