Description:

Mendocino County’s Health and Human Services Agency serves the community through coordinated, multi-disciplinary services. The Agency administers a wide range of programs through three branches (Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, Public Health and Social Services). The Agency is committed to innovation and building high performance through collaboration. This intra-agency teamwork results in higher quality services for the County’s most vulnerable individuals. The Mental Health Clinical Services Deputy Director typically directs coordinates and supervises systems of care; develops and creates resources to improve mental health services to target population; collaborates with other social service agencies to maximize service.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, or related field; (or Bachelor’s degree, when also possessing a Psychiatric RN certification), and; five years of progressively responsible related experience in a mental health or clinical setting providing direct services to mentally or emotionally disabled persons, with at least two years in a management or supervisory capacity; or, a combination of education, training and experience, in conjunction with the required licensure, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Licenses/Certifications: MFT (or) LCSW (or) LP (or) PRN
