$117,144-$143,009 Annually

Description:

The IT Director, under general and administrative direction from the County Administrator, directs plans, organizes, manages, and provides administrative direction and oversight for all functions and activities of the County’s Information Technology and Radio Communications Department; provides strategic direction and leadership in determining computer technology needs and in planning and implementing information technology, telecommunication, and radio systems throughout the County; provides highly responsible and complex professional assistance to all County departments; and performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, management information systems, business or public administration with an emphasis in computer science or a related field, and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of information technology, including at least two (2) years in a management capacity.

Licenses and Certifications:
Possession of a valid California driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
