Litigation Attorney I/II/III/IV meet with and advise County Departments regarding litigation; draft pleadings, discovery, and motions; determine case strategy and represent the County in trials, depositions, mediations, and hearings. *Official Title is Deputy County Counsel. Deputy County Counsel I ($77,355.20 - $102,377.60) Deputy County Counsel II ($95,305 – $126,547) Deputy County Counsel III ($112,424 – $149,489 annually) Deputy County Counsel IV ($129,542 – $184,392 annually)

Qualifications:

Litigation Attorney I License: Must possess active membership and be in good standing with the State Bar of California. Litigation Attorney II/III/IV License: Active membership and in good standing with the State Bar of California. AND Experience: Litigation Attorney II: Twelve (12) months of civil litigation experience as an attorney. Litigation Attorney III: Thirty (30) months of civil litigation experience as an attorney.
