Description:

Will coordinate the development of a framework for a regional zero carbon sustainability plan in partnership with the University of California San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy. This position will be critical in the County’s efforts of fostering regional collaboration with various agencies and diverse stakeholder organizations to be at the forefront of innovative and bold strategies and initiatives benefiting our region in achieving zero carbon by 2035.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or certified equivalency for foreign studies, AND, (5) years of experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the classification which must include (2) years of management or supervision. OR,A combination of experience and/or education. Note: A master’s degree or higher degree may substitute for a total of 1 year. Note: Qualifying experience will include CAO Staff Officer or Project Manager experience that involves leading projects.
