Description:

The Management Analyst I/II position works within the HR Department and reports directly to the Risk Management Administrator. Planning, developing, and coordinating the County’s safety and injury prevention programs; Developing best practices, procedures, and training related to safety matters; Developing and presenting safety-related classes; Conducting safety meetings with department representatives; Conducting workplace audits and investigating workplace accidents, injuries, and illnesses; Investigating and analyzing workplace injuries and injury trend data for the purpose of developing recommendations to prevent reoccurrences and presenting those recommendations to departments; Managing governmental safety reporting programs; Analyzing and preparing settlement recommendations for Workers’ Compensation claims; Analyzing local, state, and federal safety laws and regulations; Providing education and assistance to departments on OSHA compliance matters; Serve on the COVID-19 Response Team, ensuring case reporting and tracking of cases is done within regulatory timelines; and Working collaboratively with the worksite wellness team.

Qualifications:

Experience: One year of professional analytical, budgetary, and/or management experience in an area to which the incumbent is assigned. Training: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business or public administration, political science, finance, economics, or a related field.
