Description:

This position is responsible for the management and maintaining of wide-area/ local-area networks (WAN/LAN) and IT operation infrastructure. This position works to ensure the stable operation of the entire computer network and will manage the network in accordance with established network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure conformance with the Department’s objectives. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links.

Qualifications:

Education: Possession of a Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information processing or a closely related field.

Experience: Four (4) years of full-time or its equivalent experience in designing, installing and helping to maintain complex multi-site Network Server Operating Systems, LANs and WANs using physical layers, bridges, gateways and routers.

Substitution: Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of four years.
