$55.72 – $67.73/hour; $115,893.69 – $140,869.50/year

Description

The current open positions (two full-time and one part-time) are in the Department of Health & Social Services, Family Health Services. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant functions at an expanded level of responsibility by utilizing services of the nurse practitioner or the physician assistant within the framework of mutually established medical protocols and guidelines. Under the general direction of a physician, Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants assess and diagnosis medical needs of ambulatory and medical clinic patients, develop and implement treatment and intervention plans and evaluate patient’s progress. They also conduct education/referral; case management; health promotion; disease prevention; community outreach; and medication administration. The eligible list created as a result of this recruitment will be used to fill full-time and part-time regular, limited-term or extra-help positions as vacancies occur or the need arises.

Qualifications:

Clinic, hospital or public health experience is desired.
