Park Program Assistant – Extra-Help $24.44 – $29.70/Hourly* Are you passionate about connecting people to parks? Do you have experience working in community outreach, recreation and/or environmental education? Become a Park Program Assistant - Extra-Help! Ideal Park Program Assistant candidates will have experience coordinating, implementing, and leading quality educational and recreational programming for diverse audiences and have an understanding of principles related to equity, diversity, inclusion, and authentic community engagement.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidates will also possess: • Experience coordinating events and representing organizations at meetings • Organization skills necessary to manage multiple priorities • A positive and adaptable mindset and be self-motivated and goal-orientated • A passion for connecting people to parks and the outdoors with a multicultural perspective • Strong written and verbal communication skills including speaking in front of groups, on the phone, and via email Temporary, extra-help employees are limited in their employment to a maximum of one calendar year. These employees must be off of work for three months before they can be re-employed on an extra help basis.
