Salary:

$36.07 – $45.05/hour; $6,252.13 – $7,808.67/month; $75,025.60 - $93,704.00/year

Description:

To plan, organize, direct and manage the activities of the landscaping and grounds maintenance of County parks, County Service Areas, capital park, trail and open space development projects, and grounds around County buildings, major thoroughfares and parks facilities within the Parks and Grounds Division; to coordinate Parks and Grounds maintenance activities with other divisions, departments, the public, and other agencies; to coordinate the appropriate parks and recreation and operations; and to provide highly complex assistance to the Director of Facilities Services and the Parks Administrator.

Qualifications:

Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible experience in groundskeeping or park maintenance, including two years of relevant supervisory responsibility.

Training: Equivalent to an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, business administration, arboriculture, horticulture, forestry, park management, or a related field.

License or Certificate: May need to possess a valid driver’s license as required by the position. Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.
