Human Resources provides centralized, administrative oversight of all activities associated with the County’s human resource programs, which include Employee Benefits, Staff Development and Training, Employment Services, Classification and Compensation, Labor Relations, and HR Policy and Compliance.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in public administration, business, human resources management.

Experience:
I: One year of recent experience in technical, professional or administrative personnel work, preferably in a public agency setting.

II: Two years of professional-level personnel experience which must include as a primary responsibility one or more of the following: classification and compensation studies; recruitment and employment testing; handling grievances; collective bargaining; or conducting personnel investigations.

III: Three years of professional-level experience as a personnel generalist in a public agency setting performing a broad range of personnel functions.
