$70,467 – $85,654 annually

Description:

The Personnel/Risk Manager is an Assistant Department Head position responsible for overseeing: the personnel
management programs, personnel operations, and personnel
functions of the County, labor negotiations, manages
employer-employee relations, administers the County’s risk
management programs, provides direction for liability,
workers compensation, unemployment insurance functions,
self-insurance, and assists with the development and
implementation of County goals, objectives and priorities as it relates to County Personnel.

Qualifications:

Requirements typically attained with; any combination of training and experience which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities to perform the duties, such as: five years of increasingly responsible work experience in personnel system development and administration, including experience in recruitment and selection, position classification, testing, and equal employment opportunity and at least two years’ experience in a management or supervisory position. A Bachelor’s Degree and/or a Master’s Degree in an appropriately related field is highly desirable.
