Description:

The City of Stockton is recruiting for a Plan Check Engineer for the Community Development Department. The Plan Check Engineer will be assigned to the Building and Life Safety Division and reports to the Deputy Director. The Building and Life Safety Division is responsible for the enforcement of building codes, laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to building construction and remodeling within the City of Stockton.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in architecture, civil or structural engineering or a closely related field and two (2) years of experience in architectural, civil or structural design, or plans and specifications review.
