$8,085 – $9,826/Monthly*

Description:

The Policy, Grants, & Special Projects Administrative Analyst III (AA III) will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data and anticipating impacts relating to operational, legislative, fiscal, and/or community issues. The position will distill data, statistical reports, and legislative literature into policy and/or program recommendations for the CAO to present to the Board of Supervisors for consideration. The AA III will track complex and changing federal and state laws and administrative regulations affecting the County and act as a lead on assigned policy development and other priority special projects.

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidates will possess:

• The ability to manage multiple, complex projects, including developing and monitoring project budgets
• Experience developing new policies and programs
• The ability to effectively lead multi-agency team members’ efforts
• The ability to employ strong reasoning to project the outcomes of decisions/recommendations, program changes, or new services
• The ability to analyze programs, initiatives, and organizational structures; and interpret rules, regulations, ordinances, and legislation
• Experience facilitating community and stakeholder engagement sessions with diverse audiences
• Familiarity with public contracting and procurement processes
• Experience managing capital projects is a plus
