Probation Division Director II $9,451 – $11,489/Monthly* Strengthening Our Community Through Prevention & Intervention Starting salary up to $66.06/hour ($137,875/year) plus a cash allowance of approximately $600/month, and a competitive total compensation package*. The ideal Probation Division Director II will be an innovative, empathic, and thoughtful leader who holds the core belief that people have the ability to make positive behavior changes and has a strong interest in using research, data, and evidence to make positive changes in the field of community corrections.

Qualifications:

Additionally, the ideal candidate will bring: • Knowledge of and experience with applying contemporary best practices/concepts related to community corrections and demonstrated experience using data to evaluate programs for fidelity and efficacy • A proven ability to successfully lead and implement organizational change • Experience working with BIPOC and other marginalized populations, as well as an understanding of institutional and structural inequities • Some experience analyzing and interpreting new legislation and applying to agency operations • The ability to problem solve, as well as analyze complex situations, think strategically and execute a plan, sometimes within a very short period of time • Strong public speaking/presentation and advanced writing/editing skills • Lead and training experience to support employee professional development • Training and/or completed coursework in the following areas: o Evidence-Based Practices o Group Facilitation o Current Juvenile Laws o Trauma Informed Care, Culturally Responsive, and Gender Specific programming o Commercially Sexually Exploited Children o Child Abuse Reporting Laws o Critical Incident o Internal Investigations
