Description:

One (1) vacancy with the Tulare County Department of Child Support Services in Porterville and one (1) vacancy in Visalia. The Porterville Program Manager Child Support will oversee the Porterville office in the area of Operations, which include Enforcement, Establishment and Public Service. The Visalia Program Manager Child Support may oversee specialty teams, which includes Training, Public Relations, Analysts and Special Projects or Operations, which include Enforcement, Establishment and Public Service. This recruitment will establish an employment list to fill current and future vacancies. The anticipated life of the list is six months.

Qualifications:

Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or closely related area, AND four years of responsible fiscal, managerial, personnel or governmental administrative work, preferably in a child support setting. Knowledge of – Federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to child support including parent’s rights and obligations; fiscal management and budget administration; principles and practices of supervision, training and evaluation; community resources and organizations; legal terms and documents commonly used in child support..
