The Public Health Division of Napa County’s Health & Human Services Agency is seeking a Public Health Nurse to work in the Communicable Disease Control unit.

Of the 17 programs that Public Health delivers, this position will focus on Communicable Disease Control activities. This position is responsible to investigate reports of suspected disease and provide case management to clients as applicable. Valid certification as a Public Health Nurse is required.

Being bilingual in Spanish is preferred for this vacancy, but is not required.

Required License and Certificate:
Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California is required.

Possession of a valid California State Public Health Nurse Certificate is required.

Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.

For continued employment with Napa County, you must maintain such license, certification, or registration to meet the minimum qualifications of this position.
