$119,954 – $149,968/Annually

Description:

The Real Property Division serves County departments and other agencies by acquiring real property and managing the County’s leased space needs. The Division defines facility needs, identifies appropriate alternatives, negotiates acquisition agreements and leases on competitive terms, and administers agreements throughout the term of the lease. Additionally, the Division provides right-of-way acquisition services and real property expertise. The Manager will be involved in all aspects of office operations, including analyzing needs, searching for properties for purchase or lease, and determining creative and cost-effective ways to use and rehabilitate property.

Qualifications:

A typical way to qualify is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, accounting, real estate law or a related field, along with five years of increasingly responsible work experience in a public sector or closely-related venue, which includes one or more years of supervisory or management experience in the appraisal, purchase, sale and/or management of real property.
